I wrote an article telling about an interesting experience I had and the insights I got using an agent to write a lot of code for me.
To achieve scalable and maintainable code, it’s crucial to steer the agent’s development process with well-thought-out prompts that provide enough context and explicit instructions. But especially, aim to incrementally reduce needless complexity and over-engineering, delivering just what the product or codebase requires — toward a good-enough, simple yet flexible design.
